Abstract

We report a case of papillary thyroid carcinoma in a 6-year-old male child who presented with a solitary midline thyroid nodule initially diagnosed as adenomatous goitre on fine needle aspiration cytology. Our case highlights the need for careful preoperative workup, management and follow-up of such cases in the paediatric age group.
